Schoenhut White Painted Wooden Jointed Poodle

Circa 1918-1933: German immigrant, Albert Schoenhut, founded his toy company in 1872. His charming wooden dolls and circus sets became his most well known creations. This regular sized wooden Schoenhut white poodle with painted facial features measure 8" long not including its original tail and is in completely original condition with no paint touch-ups or restoration. Please note the elastic stringing is stable but not as tight as new or restrung. Poodle is posable and stands securily. The hand painted expression is delightful and the original condition makes this a wonderful example of Schoenhut's expressive animals.
