Circa 1927-1933: German immigrant Albert Schoenhut founded his toy company in 1872. His charming wooden dolls and circus sets became his most well known creations. This reduced sized wooden Schoenhut spotted leopard with painted eyes measures 6" long not including its original tail. This figure was part of the popular early 20th century Schoenhut Circus and is in completely original condition with no paint touch-ups or restoration. The leopard is in excellent condition with good color and minimal paint loss as photographed.
