Circa 1920s-1940s: This attractive 11 5/8" square blue and yellow ring toss game was most probably manufactured by New York City's J. Pressman and Company. Pressman rose to fame in the gameboard arena by manufacturing Chinese checkers games, and they also had a line of other wooden boards, including graphically dynamic ring toss boards, such as this visually pleasing small board with a series of eight pointed stars and numbers. The ring toss game retains its original paint and is in excellent condition with very slight warpage commensurate with age and use. The board displays well and is ready hang.
