Tabletop Churn with Lady Slipper Orchid Decoration

Circa 1850-1880: Stoneware tabletop churns are scarce, and this gracefully potted and unusually decorated 12" tall petite Ohio butter churn with fantastic contrast is simply charming. Condition is excellent with minor wear on the inside rim and body, no chips, cracks, or repairs and a few typical in the making glaze anomalies. We don't often find pieces with lady slipper decoration, and to come across a depiction of this rare flower on a hard to find form is a real treat.
