Circa Late 19th Century: Collectors covet miniature pantry boxes, and this 2 1/8"D x 1 1/8"H round pantry box in period dry yellow paint is a delight to the eye. Condition is excellent with very minor losses to the bottom edge of the lid as photographed. This pantry box is constructed with hand cut brads, wooden pegs, and opposing finger joints, and boxes with these qualities are often given a South Hingham, Massachusetts, attribution by dealers and collectors alike.
