Large J de P Delage Tin Wind-up Limousine

Circa 1928-1932: A finer example of this sleek Jouets de Paris (J de P) 13" long Delage Limousine would be extremely difficult to find because this beautiful French tin wind-up retains nearly all of its untouchedd original polychromatic paint decoration and has only minor in use wear. This beauty features a clockwork motor, horn, battery operated spotlight (batteries not included), full steering, and original key. Fully marked on the bottom, this incredibly beautiful antique French toy car is in a remarkable state of preservation, and, when looking at the pinstriped limouisine with the childlike innocence that every toy collector has, it's fun to imagine that all roads lead to Paris, where this spectacular vehicle was manufactured for the delight of children around our ever spinning globe.
