Circa 1930s: Founded in 1898, Lancaster, Pennsylvania's Hubley Company quickly became one of America's leading cast iron toy and bank manufacturers, but the historic firm has garnered its most lasting fame from their line of realistic toy Indian and Harley-Davidson motorcycles, the most popular being the large cycles with removable riders. This classic red 9" Indian four cylinder motorcycle has no chips, cracks, or repairs and is in all original condition including superb paint, tires, removable cop rider, and functioning clicking mechanism. It will be difficult to find a cast iron Indian cycle better than this one. This example comes from the Kidd Toy Museum owned by renowned collector Frank Kidd.
