Circa 1820s: Table Rock, Niagara is one of the few historical Staffordshire Canadian views manufactured in England for the American market and is highly desirable for that reason. This is the view of Niagara Falls from the Canadian side of the infamous honeymoon tourist attraction, and it is one of the favorites in Enoch Wood & Sons' storied dark blue Shell Border series of the 1820s. This early transferware 10" plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs and only minor light utensil marks on the front side.
