Circa 1870s: Stripers have become very popular in today's stoneware collecting community, and it's always nice to find something a little different to pique one's interest. We have never come across a striper in this form, and this 8.25" four striped half gallon storage jar with a widely flared lip is in superb as made condition with only minor typical firing anomalies, including a small stone pop, and no chips, cracks, or repairs. This jar has nice dark stripes and great contrast and will make a nice addition for the striper collector who has everything.
