Circa 1911-1932: Manufactured in Kenton, Ohio, by the cast iron giant Kenton Hardware Company, this 9 5/8" tall Statue of Liberty penny bank in its original silver paint with gold highlights includes its large round Stevens coin trap and is the largest and most difficult to find version of this patriotic still bank. Condition is excellent with no chips cracks or repairs and typical wear to the paint as photograhed. Because this bank is a crossoveer into the collecting field of patriotic americana, demand is higher than supply, making this a wonderful addition to one's collection.
