Circa 1912-1917: Designed by Charles A. Bailey for the J. & E. Stevens Company in Cromwell, Connecticut, the Boy Scout Camp mechanical bank features three boy scouts at their campsite with a cauldron, coffee pot, flag, owl, and teepee. This engaging patriotic bank works by putting a coin in the slot on top of the tree. When the lever is pressed, the flag raises as the coin drops into the teepee. The Boy Scout Camp bank is quite scarce, and this all orginal example retains approximately 90% of its original paint, works well, has its original coin trap, and has no touch ups, chips, cracks, or repairs. It's difficult to find this bank in such clean condition on the open market.
