Fallows City Passenger Railroad Trolley

Circa 1880s: Attributed to Philadelphia's James Fallows and Sons, this handsome 12" long hand painted early American tin City Passenger horse drawn railroad trolley features an all original five color paint scheme with no touch ups, no repairs, and no restoration. Because of the fragility of the surface on early hand painted tin toys, this example has survived in superb condition with approximately 80% of its original factory paint. It's dificult to find early American tin toys this nice, and the eye catching graphics on this 19th century trolley are particularly attractive.
