Circa 1880s: This 18" tall (including modern museum stand) 19th century eagle weathervane has an 18.5" wingspan and a 17.5" arrow sports an old historic weathered in use regilding with verdigis patina. The vane is constructed of copper with a zinc head and has a minor seam split on one wing along with a few typical minor dents and bends. This patriotic weathervane has a very pleasing surface and sculptural appeal, being large enough to make a bold statement yet small enough that it can fit in just about any room of the house.
