Circa Late 19th Century: Measuring 10" tall (17" tall including its folksy modern mount) and having an 11.75" wingspan, this small eagle weathervane is attributed to New York City's J.W. Fiske and Company. Contructed of copper with a zinc head, this handsome vane has a wonderful crusty old historic weathered surface with plenty of verdigris patina and traces of old paint and gilding, which is just how we like to find them.
