Arcade 8" Cast Iron Yellow Cab

Circa 1923-1926: Certainly one of the most recognized toys manufactured in the 20th century, the iconic cast iron Yellow Cab is Freeport, Illinois, toy giant Arcade Manufacturing Company's most famous offering, and this eight inch version is stamped on both rear doors and is signed Arcade and Made in USA. The taxi is completely original, including the oft replaced screen grill and driver, and has excellent original four color paint scheme with typical play wear and no chips, cracks, repairs, or touch-ups. This example has been gently and lovingly used and not abused, exactly the way we like to find them.
