Circa 1898: Because of their low survival rate, American games from the 19th century are scarce, and this lovely circa 1898 set of Mother Goose picture cubes fromNew York paper lithography masters McLoughlin Brothers does not often surface on the open market. The condition of this game, considering its age and rarity, is excellent. Box measures 8 1/2" x 11", and blocks are 2 1/2" square. Includes six original sheets and full set of blocks.
