Vintage Fiesta© Comports for Sale | Circa 1936-1946

The small Fiesta sweets comport, HLCC's famous candy dish, is a favorite among collectors because of its petite size and unusual form. The Fiesta 12" comport, perfect for holding a bounty of fresh fruit, was, like the sweets comport, produced for 10 years and retired in late 1946. Examples of comports in original Fiesta red are more difficult to find because the red glaze was discontinued by 1943. There is also an extremely rare prototype 10" Fiesta footed comport that was never put into production. We know of three extant examples in ivory and have heard tell of one in cobalt.
