Vintage Fiesta Cobalt Blue Sweets Comport

Circa 1936-1946: Available in original six colors only and one of the few Fiesta shapes that were designed without the intention of marking, except by inkstamp "HLC USA," perhaps for export reasons, the 3 1/2"H x 5 1/8"D vintage Fiesta sweets comport was discontinued soon after WWII ended. This example in the dark blue cobalt glaze survivess in excellent condition without damage and barely a sign of use. The cobalt glaze is rich and even, and the base is attached nice and straight to the top dish. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
