Circa 1937-1946: One of the great pieces of the Fiesta pottery dinnerware line, the large footed comports crosses over from dinnerware to art pottery when used on the table to display fruits or flowers. Its slip cast foot would have been tooled on the jiggering machine and them hand applied and the top before being dipped in one of the six orginal Fiesta glazes and placed in the kiln to fire. Measuring 12" 1/2"D x 3 1/2"H, this gorgeous turquoise Fiesta comport has a great shine and the brilliant blue vintage turquoise shade that advanced collectors covet. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
