Vintage Fiesta Mixing Bowls for Sale | Circa 1936-1943

The bright depression era nesting bowl sets represent play in American dinnerware and reached their pinnacle of popularity in the late 30s, and the vintage Fiesta set, with a grand total of seven bowls that sit within 1/16" of each other, is ambitous indeed. Sold individually, Fiesta mixing bowls could be mixed and matched to fit any color palette. From 1936-1938, a set of rings was hand tooled into the bottom of the bowls on the jigering machine. These rings let us date production to the earliest era of Fiesta pottery and are three times more uncommon than their plain bottomed siblings. Turquoise bowls with inside bottom rings are especially scarce. Please note that, in the Fall of 1942, the bowls were only released in one color per size: Cobalt #7, Turquoise #6, Yellow #5, Ivory #4, Green #3, Yellow #2, and Red #1.
