Circa 1936-1938: Inside Bottom Rings— The upper circumfrence of the #6 Fiesta bowl measures nearly 31" around. That is wider than many waists, so it is no wonder the #6 bowls have a demanding presence. The glaze on this #6 vintage Fiesta Yellow bowl is fantastic—nice and even and without damage. Please note one under the glaze brown spot on the rim, caused from something flying around the air in the Homer Laughlin pottery factor of the 1930s! Hand dipped and tooled the #6 bowls were produced in far less quanitites than its smaller siblings, and it is the #6 and #7 Fiesta mixing bowls which will prove the hardest for the collector to find. Becoming heavy and very large at this size they were not as widely used as the other bowls. Whether you are filling your set, or displaying on shelves, the large #6 fiesta nesting bowl is a delight to add to your collection. Nicely marked on the bottom in the mold with the impressed mark "HCLo fiesta MADE IN USA" and a nicely visible number 6. Measures an impressive 9 11/16" w x 6 5/16h"
