Circa 1937-1946: The original turquoise glaze was a little late the the Homer Laughlin China Company's fiesta, becoming the sixth color of the long running dinnerware line in 1937, a year after Fiestaware's release, and would remain in production for the next thirty-two years. Turquoise was reintroduced to the modern Fiesta line in 1988 and is still in production today, a testament to the glaze's timeless popularity.
