Circa 1937-1943: Fully Marked Set! Part of the manufacturing process in making Fiestaware in the '30s and '40s at the Homer Laughlin China Company's Newell, West Virginia, pottery plant included hand etching the line's famous concentric rings into the clay on what is called a jiggering machine. This handiwork is one of the many contributing factors to the charm of the Fiesta tableware line. More charm comes from a collector's personal eye for mixing and matching great combinations, and this example of the vintage Fiesta relish tray set with the ivory base and yellow center lined with the remaining original colors seems as classic today as when it was assembled around 80 years ago!
This glaze combination accentuates the brightness of the first six Fiesta colors by having the smooth ivory vellum base cradle its five siblings in its outstretched palm. Note that all six pieces are fully marked with the classic Fiesta logo and that the turquoise side insert is signed with the Genuine Fiesta black ink stamp.
This gorgeous vintage Fiestaware relish tray has no chips, cracks, or repairs and comes satisfaction guaranteed.
