Circa August 1936-January 1937: Within six months, before turquoise glaze was even developed, the Fiesta mixing bowl lid achieved fame as the first piece retired from the long running dinnerware line. Owning any nesting bowl lid is a rare treat, and we know few collectors who have completed the entire set of twenty! Measuring 7 11/16"D, this original cobalt blue Fiestaware #4 nesting bowl lid in the largest sized produced for market is in good condition, without chips, but does exhibit light scratching on the top and is priced accordingly.
