Circa 1959-1969: Fiesta tableware had been marketed for over two decades before the introduction of the medium green glaze. Sales had slowed, and many pieces had been retired from production. However, the covered casserole was one of the last remaining giants of the original Fiesta line, a gorgeous piece of holloware that included early details such as individually cast handles and knobs that were still hand applied, along with abundant concentric rings and a gently flared foot. Measuring 5.75"H x 9.75"D, this rare covered casserole in original medium green, the last of the eleven vintage Fiesta glazes before the line was retooled in 1969, is in excellent condition without signs of use or damage.
