8" Arcade Cast Iron Yellow Cab Bank

Circa 1923-1926: The cast iron Yellow Cab is Freeport, Illinois, toy giant Arcade Manufacturing Company's most famous creation. This is the 8" still bank variant of the iconic Arcade Yellow Cab, and it remains in incredible pristine condition with over 95% of its original paint (no chips, cracks, touch-ups, or repairs) its original grill screen, and its original painted driver. The bank version of the Yellow Cab is a great crossover between toys and banks, and high grade examples like this one are hard to find because both bank and toy collectors vie for the premium specimens.
