Canaryware Pitcher with Greek Key Border and Grapevine DecorationProfuse Decoration, Excellent FormCirca1820: Measuring 6" in height and 7 1/2" in width, this beautiful and rare canaryware pitcher is highly decorated on the outside and even has more hand painted silver on the inside rim! Condition is excellent with one small glued chip on the base rim. Canaryware was utilitarian and therefore was used heavily. It is uncommon to find a pitcher like this in such good condition, and this lovely piece will fit well in any collection of early americana or ceramics.
