Early Round Finger Jointed Pantry Box with Rosehead Nails

circa 1790-1825

This 5 1/4" wide by 2 1/4" tall antique round pantry box shows fabulous patina and pure original surface -- note the rosehead nails in the ends of the finger joints and the oxidation under the lid. Excellent condition and mellow old dry surface with the early hand made rosehead nails with great patina make this lap jointed box an excellent early american antique.
